Silent Directed Retreat


 “This, the first of his signs, Jesus did at Cana in Galilee, and manifested his glory. And his disciples believed in him.” (John 2:1-11)

This yearly retreat provides time for silence, daily Eucharist, an opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation, daily spiritual direction, centering prayer/Lectio, and a focus on the Sunday Gospel. In addition, there will be the opportunity to join the Sisters for daily Lauds and Vespers.  Fr. Mark DeSutter leads a team of certified Spiritual Directors.  Reward yourself, after a busy holiday season, with a rich silent retreat to refresh your soul.  Lunch is in silence and there is conversation at dinner. Opportunity for centering prayer.

Date: Sun. Jan. 19 (Arrival: 4 pm; Vespers: 5 pm; Dinner: 5:30 pm; Conference: 7 pm)-Wed. Jan.22, 4 pm.

Spiritual Directors: Fr. Mark DeSutter and Lorene Knobbe, Assistant Program Director at Benet House.

Fee: Registration and payment (includes a private room, all meals, and 3 spiritual direction sessions) by Dec. 19: $445. Registration and payment after Dec. 19: $460. Scholarships are available upon request. Don’t hesitate to inquire! Registration deadline is Jan 8.
